How to Use LightMV *New

Video Guide

• LightMV is an easy-to-use video maker by direct editing on templates. It requires only a few clicks to upload your photos/clips, then set titles and timing, and music as well, to produce an After-Effect video. It applies to Cloud Render Technique that enables you to free your device whilst rendering videos.

Step Guide

1. Create a Video Task

Search for aiming templates by:

• Check the Category and Scene to find your aiming template, or use the search bar on the page top:
  

Preview the template by:

• Hover on a certain picture to preview the ready-made sample content. In this way, you can quickly get to know your oncoming videos.
  

Create your video task by:

• Click on a template cover (and 4 similar ones are presented below);
• then『Create Now』button to start a video task;

2. On Scene-collage Templates

Scene-collage templates: such a template can be seen as designed out of several beautiful scenes. That is to say, using such a template, you can arrange a particular scene from it for your photos, by changing the scene effect, setting the timing, and the order. Or you may leave everything default, and after you upload your photos, you can actually, with one click on the Produce button, make videos just like the sample videos in templates.

How to use a scene-collage template?

• Upload photos by the『+』icon. Mouse on the Eye icon, you can preview the scene effect for your photos.

• Click on the Timing icon, you can reset the timing of this scene.

• Click on the Pen icon, you can change the scene effect for your photos.

• Select and drag a scene, you can adjust the order of the scene.

• Select and drag a photo, you can adjust the order of the photo. Yet the scene effect might be auto-reset to best match your photos.

3. On Flexible Templates

For this part, you will learn how to edit on a flexible template.  It works well with 0-100 uploaded files. That is, you can upload at most 100 images/clips onto the template. 

See how to edit a flexible template:

• 『+』plus icon in the middle:  add files in batch(mouse drag and select multiple files);
• 『T』text icon in the middle: add an additional text scene(it will display before/after a photo/clip file);

• 『Edit』button on uploaded files(double-click):
  • add titles on your picture/clip and set the font;
  • crop & rotate your pictures and set the timing for them.
    *Note: some certain templates cannot be edited on opening titles, due to the set design.

• • Trim & rotate your clip and set the volume for them(move the small triangles on the play bar to trim clips);
    *Note: timing limits 3-16s.

4. On Fixed Template

For this part, you will learn how to edit on a fixed template. It has fixed limits in the number of files and texts. You must replace every media it requires.

• Click the sample text/file to replace it with your titles and photos.
• 『Edit』button on the uploaded files: crop & rotate your photo, or trim your clip.

•   Your titles will be displayed by the given sample effect, either on/before/after a photo/clip.

5. Change the background music

• You can upload your own audio file by one click the『Change Music』button on the right top, or select from the stored Audio Library.

• Trim your audio to better loop by clicking the『Music Setting』button. There, you can also set the volume, and fade-in-and-out effect.

6. Produce and Export

Free version in SD quality.

• Click the『Produce for free』button to get a video for preview;
  *Note: Come back and check it later. Exit the website and this won’t stop producing your video.

Paid version in (Full) HD quality.

• Once finished producing, watch your video and make further editing to output your best video, if necessary.
• Finally, produce your best video in 720/1080P. Come back later to check and download your video.

Download and Export your video.

• You can download your video in MP4 once it finished producing.
• The video file size differs from template to template and a template with stunning cool effects makes the video file larger.

Login & Subscription

Login

• Open the LightMV app, and click『Log in』on the right top.
• You can log in with any of your email address/phone number, or your Google/Facebook/Twitter account.
• You can bind your accounts with other info in order to get back your password. BUT you are creating two different accounts by login with two different info.

Single Video Purchase

• Direct payment for a single video doesn’t help you upgrade the feature of uploading 100 visuals. (You can unlock this by Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly subscription.);

• A single video price is listed on the template.

Period Subscription

Get a  Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly subscription and within the valid period, you will:

• Enjoy free produce SD videos without watermark;

• Enjoy a certain quantity of free HD videos without watermarks;

• Enjoy uploading up to 100 visuals to the flexible templates;

Video stops producing

You can use the notifier feature and leave your phone number/email address, and then close the app and relax. Once it finished rendering, you will get a notifying message. 

The beautiful effects in the template take time to render a video through the cloud rendering server. If any further problems, please feel free to contact us.

Upload how many files

Using a flexible template, you can upload 100 with a Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly subscription, otherwise, you can only upload 50 photos.

Using a fixed template, you can upload a certain amount of files as the template contains.

Re-edit & download

Yes. You can unlimitedly download your HD videos. After download, if you want to re-edit and modify it, you may be charged.

1. You can click the Edit button to directly re-edit and modify your video.

2. In this way, your 720/1080P video enjoys one free modifying and you can free produce it in the same quality for once. From here, you will be charged for any further modifying and re-editing.

3. Friendly tip: re-edit the copy by duplicate your video to preserve your original video. You will be charged to produce a new HD video, yet the SD video is always free.

Free re-edit video

To free edit without charge, you can always produce SD videos for preview and modifying. At last, pay to produce your best video in HD. In this way, you can always free modify and re-edit your video.

About commercial use

We have a team of professional designers and all LightMV templates(excluding the fonts/images/audio in the sample templates) are authorized by them. You must not commercially use the inside fonts/images/audio unless you have checked that they are of free copyright.

Without the written permission from LightMV, the LightMV sample video and videos making with LightMV sample template with their inside sample contents, may not be used for any commercial purposes or authorized to other third parties for commercial purposes (including but not limited to advertising, sales, commercial display, etc.).

All rights of any material used by LightMV to provide online services (including but not limited to any images, photos, animations, videos, sound recordings, music, fonts and additional programs, and accompanying auxiliary materials contained in the software) belong to the copyright owner of the material. You can only use the above-mentioned material to make videos with LightMV and the services it provides, and as a component of the video. You may not separate the material provided by LightMV from the video in any way or use the material alone in any form;

Some of the materials (such as music, etc.) in LightMV are provided or authorized by a third party. If LightMV or the third-party service providers find that you use this service to perform the above-prohibited actions, we have the right to temporarily or permanently ban your account. Permanently ban and claim compensation for infringement damages from you.

If you find that we have used your copyrighted works without permission, please contact support@lightmv.com and provide the copyright certificate, description of the infringing content, and URL of the infringing material. After you have verified that you are the copyright owner, we will proceed with the material delisting on LightMV.

Play on a large screen

The answer is yes! The Full HD video in 1080P is perfect on a large screen while the HD video in 720P is better on a small screen.

Looping Music

Hello, this frustrating problem is caused by too much web cache. You can simply reopen the website to fix it!

Duplicate purchase

If you duplicate purchase a LightMV subscription, your VIP valid date will be prolonged and the VIP video produces as well.

Cancel my subscription

Hello, according to the relevant rules of Paddle and PayPal, the third parties platform, you will open the auto-renewal service when you first purchase a subscription through Paddle and PayPal.

You will receive an email message from LightMV to remind you that your subscription will renew soon. If not, it might have been in the junk mailbox.
